Most classes have reduced groups of students,
generally less than 50. In order to provide more personalised attention. Many
Faculties have a tutorial system, with a limited number of students being
tutored by a staff member. The Ratio of students to teachers is 13:1 The
teaching staff has been carefully selected by taking into account their
academic records, teaching experience, professional activity and the personal qualities
required to teach. This contributes to the creation of an excellent
student-teacher relationship, which is both relaxed and academically and
humanly enriching.
The University has a variety of services at the
disposal of the students. These include libraries, Guidance Service, and
Solidarity Commitment Service, Employment Bureaus, Psychological Service, and
the Social Work Unit, Computing Rooms, sports and cultural activities,
International Relations, religious assistance, dining rooms, etc.
The Universidad Pontificia Comillas has a long
international tradition. This includes well consolidated joint study programmes
with European and North American Universities, such as the Degree in
International Business Science and the Double Degree in Engineering. In
addition, a considerable number of exchanges are made with universities in
Europe, Latin America and the United States involving students and teaching
staff. The University is one of the first in Spain as regards the number of
students involved in the Socrates-Erasmus Programme.
The Degree in International Business Science (E-4)
